I have my MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College and am a Certified Instructor of the Miller Voice Method (MVM), as well as serving as a faculty member of the MVM teacher certification program. I have been teaching voice and speech for 11 years, the past 6 of which have been in the BFA Acting Program at Montclair State University, where I also coach voice and dialects on departmental productions each semester. I have also taught both Voice and Speech and Improvisation at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA), Pace University, Marymount Manhattan, Brooklyn College, Vivid Stage, and the Groundlings based improv school, Improvolution.

In all my classes, I want my students to be empowered to take risks, to tap into their desire to keep learning and exploring the work in an ever-evolving world, to own their specific sound and human experience, to play an find joy in curiosity, and to feel safe to bring their vulnerable and expressive selves to their roles as storytellers.
